- Read the magazine together.
- Then have kids tell Max’s story in their own words, using the photos. Ask, “¿Para qué le sirvió el casco a Max?”
- After reading, get up and move with our ¡BAILA BAILA! video.
- Then do the Demuestra lo que sabes skill sheet.
- Kids learn about summer safety with our Búsqueda de verano game.
- Kids can practice reading, writing, and concepts of print with our Desenreda la oración skill sheet.

Materials: Mi primera licencia de conducir skill sheet, scissors, crayons, glue, photo of each child (optional)
- These cute little licenses are a great reminder for kids to practice safety on bikes and scooters! You can take a photo of each child and print out in advance. Or kids can draw their “license photo” instead!
- Have each child cut out a license template on the dotted line. Make sure they do NOT cut on the solid line. Instead, have them fold along that line, and paste or tape the insides together.
- On the front, kids can paste a photo or draw themselves, and write their name. On the back, they can check off the safety rules they will follow. If you like, laminate for durability. Kids can carry their license whenever they go on a ride!
